Wine Explorers' 10th Anniversary Celebration

Updated: 8 hours ago

Wine Explorers celebrated its 10th anniversary with an unforgettable evening at Hotel Le Bibló in Carrasco, surrounded by clients, wineries, and friends. With more than 30 Uruguayan wineries present, the event featured an exceptional selection of wines, top-tier gastronomy, and exciting surprises. Founder Verónica González Carli shared the story and evolution of the agency, highlighting the rapid growth of wine tourism in Uruguay and expressing gratitude to everyone who has been part of the journey. The event, officially recognized as being of National Interest for Viticulture, concluded with the launch of the agency’s institutional video, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Wine Explorers.

On Friday, February 21st, Wine Explorers Uruguay celebrated its first 10 years as a wine tourism agency in Uruguay.

The event took place at Le Bibló, a luxurious mansion-turned-hotel in the heart of Carrasco, which welcomed us in its majestic garden for this special occasion, creating an unparalleled setting.

We enjoyed a magical evening with exquisite cuisine, wines from over 30 different Uruguayan wineries, live music, premium wine raffles, wine tourism experiences, stays at boutique wineries, and plenty of surprises. Additionally, this event was declared of National Interest for Viticulture by INAVI.

Throughout the night, guests were able to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with a wide variety of Talar cheeses, premium cold cuts from Alimentos Centenario, and an exclusive caviar tasting by Black River, along with the exquisite gastronomy that characterizes Hotel Le Bibló’s cuisine.

The wines from 30 different wineries were distributed across three bars, led by sommeliers Leo Guerrero, Líber Pisciottano, and Cristian Lamas.

Wine Explorers Uruguay’s founder and director, Verónica González Carli, shared the story of the company’s beginnings, emphasizing the remarkable growth of wine tourism offerings over the past 10 years. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the entire team, the wineries that have accompanied us on this journey, and, of course, everyone who has trusted us and made it possible for Wine Explorers to become a leading wine tourism agency in Uruguay. Her speech concluded with the official screening of Wine Explorers’ 10-year institutional video, launched at this celebration.

To top off the night, a grand 10th-anniversary cake was the perfect finale, and each guest took home a special commemorative wine crafted by BraccoBosca winery.

A huge thank you to the 100 people who were part of this celebration, as well as the wineries and companies that supported this event and everyone who worked to make this unique gathering possible:
